Donation Policy

1. Purpose of Donations

Donations made to Transformations Across Regions support our mission to empower communities through education, climate action, programs for youth and women, and other charitable activities.
Funds are used to:

• Implement projects and programs

• Purchase materials, tools, and resources

• Maintain operations, administration, and outreach

• Provide direct support to beneficiaries

Transform Kenya does not distribute profits to individuals.

2. Types of Donations

We accept the following forms of contributions:

• One-time and recurring financial donations

• In-kind donations (materials, equipment, services)

• Corporate or organizational sponsorships

• Grants and strategic partnerships

3. Refund Policy

All donations are considered final and non-refundable.
Exceptions may be made only if:

• A donation was made in error (duplicate transaction)

• An incorrect amount was charged

Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the transaction and must include a valid receipt.

4. Use of Donor Information

We treat donor information with confidentiality.
We do not sell, trade, or share donor personal information.

Your information may be used only for:

• Issuing receipts

• Acknowledgements and thank-you messages

• Reporting to funders where required by law

You may opt-out of future communication at any time.

5. Tax & Receipts

All donors receive a formal acknowledgement receipt.
Receipts are sent to the email address provided at the time of donation.

Transform Kenya is committed to responsible financial management.

We ensure:

• Accurate record keeping

• Annual financial reporting

• Responsible use of funds in line with our mission

Reports and updates may be published publicly or sent to registered donors.

7. Safety & Fraud Prevention

Official donations should be made only through:

• Our official website donation links

• Official bank or mobile money paybill numbers

• Official fundraising events

Transform Kenya is not responsible for donations made through unauthorized third parties.
